About the Course
This course is structured to enable students to learn the essentials of business management, equipping them with the necessary skills to manage people, money, resources and customers in varying business environments. Students will use real case studies to critically evaluate business models and concepts and apply them to real-world situations. They will be shown what is needed to succeed in business and will be taught strategy-oriented thinking and planning.
Upon completion of this degree, students will have the knowledge and ability to work in a wide range of career fields including administration, personnel, marketing, finance, law, purchasing and management, in any business sector.

Entry Requirements
To be granted admission onto this degree course, you must have:- CBSE/ICSE/State Board Class XII with aggrigate of 50% or more -
- 'A' level standard or equivalent (e.g. 12 years of education)
- A UK NQF/QCF Level 3 qualification; or
- Be a mature-age student (over 21) with suitable work experience
In addition, a minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required where English is not your first language. Applications from students with an IELTS score of less than 5.5 will be considered, providing they have achieved a minimum of B1 in all four components – reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students in this category will be required to take pre-sessional English (at an additional cost) prior to commencing their academic studies.
Assessment
Assessment is by a combination of coursework, assignments, case reviews, planning exercises and examinations. All assessments are externally validated and all units must be passed to gain this qualification.Further Study Options
On successful completion of the BA (Hons) Business Management, students can go on to study the Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership at either our India campus or London campuses.Students may also be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration awarded by the University of Sunderland if they have gained significant work experience. This course is only taught at our London campuses.
