The demand for both products and services depend on various market conditions including competition, capital and communication. Through ‘communication’ a company can make the prospects/customers aware of its product/service attributes. Advertising and Public Relations play a vital role in fulfilling this ‘communication’ aspect. In this context, B.Com (Advertising, Sales Promotion, Sales Management) aims at equipping students with finer nuances of Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations and Sales force Management. This program enables the students to develop skills required for job/vocation in advertising, personal selling and salesmanship. On the other hand, a student also will be equipped with skills required to motivate and train the sales force and enhance their productivity.

All evaluations are conducted as per the norm of Osmania University. These are two components of evaluations:
Internal – 20 Marks
External – 80 Marks
There will be 2 internal examinations during the semester as per the schedule of Osmania University. At the end of each semester, final external examination will be conducted by Osmania University.

These graduates have good opportunities in organizations involved in marketing, market research, marketing strategy, sales, advertising, promotion, pricing, product development and public relations activities. They may also get into large firms, which may offer numerous products and services nationally or even worldwide.
On gaining sufficient experience a student can evolve in his/her career to perform managerial roles in reputed companies.
If a student decided to be an entrepreneur or join small firms, he/she might assume all advertising, promotions, marketing, sales, and public relations responsibilities.
The goal of education is not memorizing the academic content but construction and reconstruction of life experiences and relating them to the academics thereby acquiring higher orders of learning.
Life skills are not academic skills but the application of knowledge, values and skills leading to optimal development of the individual. Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.
