Introduction
Become a leader of the futureIn today's competitive business world, employers are seeking out talented managers with the personal attributes and qualities that will help them to develop into the leaders of tomorrow. An MBA qualification, coupled with relevant work experience and proven organisational achievements, shows employers your capability to lead and manage. It will also give you a range of 'soft' skills that are essential in the fluid organisational environments to which employers are currently recruiting.
This course offers a stimulating learning experience that prepares students to be creative and flexible, and stand back from situations and 'make sense of them' in a range of different ways. Aimed at graduates with significant business and management experience, it will significantly enhance your capability to function as a senior manager within a wide range of commercial and service organisations.
About the Course
This internationally recognised programme covers all areas of general management and professional skills with a focus on business management. Students will develop strategic management knowledge, competence and problem-solving skills, and will also become familiar with international management practice, and the development of effective business cultures and performance enhancement. Another special aspect of this programme is the industry-led approach, where students can gain hands-on exposure to real case studies at a global level, allowing them to learn not only the principles and academics of management but also the practical techniques to apply their knowledge in an ever-changing global corporate environment.
Students can make their MBA specialised by choosing a dissertation topic that relates to an area of business they wish to pursue a career in, for example students may choose topics such as marketing, human resources, strategic management or international business. EThames makes every effort to support students during their dissertation preparation, with formal planning sessions and seminars on key areas such as how to choose a topic or how to conduct a literature review, and essential one-to-one supervision sessions designed to guide students through the writing process.
