This is a special Programme of Gulbarga University. The curriculum is specifically tailored to meet the requirements of functioning in the competitive business world of the future.

Successful completion of the Two Year full time programme leads to award of Regular MBA Degree of Gulbarga University. Successful completion of the First Year is rewarded with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) of Gulbarga University.

Students will develop strategic management knowledge, competence and problem-solving skills, and will also become familiar with international management practice, and the development of effective business cultures and performance enhancement. Another special aspect of this programme is the industry-led approach, where students can gain hands-on exposure to real case studies at a global level, allowing them to learn not only the principles and academics of management but also the practical techniques to apply their knowledge in an ever-changing global corporate environment.

Students can make their MBA specialised by choosing from three domains: Marketing, Finance & Human Resource Development. The total programme will be conducted at EThames, India City campus.

Entry Requirements

To be granted admission onto this Programme, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree from a recognised University showing a pass at First or Second Class.
• Applicants should have completed the Graduation in English medium.
• Students may have to undergo an assessment of English language capability. Based on the result of the assessment , students may be advised to take pre-sessional English (at an additional cost) prior to commencing their academic studies.
• Some relevant work experience is desirable.

Assessment

Assessment is by a combination of coursework, assignments, case reviews, planning exercises and semester examinations. There is also an eight week Internship Programme with a selected Company.

Career Prospects

An MBA is particularly useful in preparing graduates from a variety of disciplines for an executive or management role. It also allows students to find employment in a variety of business-and management-related jobs at a senior level in all business sectors.
